Lunches
Cooked lunches are provided at Ladybridge Primary School or children may bring a packed lunch.
Our school meals are provided by the Totally Local Company Limited.
Meals are either prechosen by parents at home (via School Grid) or by the children when they register in the calss in the morning.
All children in the Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 classes are entitled to a free school meal. The cost for all other children is currently £2.72.
Free School Meals – Only children from families who are in receipt of Income Support/ Income Based Job Seekers Allowance/ Income related Employment Support Allowance/ Child Tax Credit but who are not entitled to Working Tax Credit and whose income does not exceed £16,190, are eligible to receive free school meals. Children who do not have school meals can bring their own packed lunches to school. We would encourage parents to ensure that packed lunches are healthy and nutritious in the same way as school meals are. For safety reasons, we ask that no glass bottles, glass vacuum flasks, fizzy drinks, sweets or nuts are put in lunchboxes please.
Snacks in School
All children are provided with bottled water that they can access throughout the day.
Milk is provided in Nursery and Reception.
All infants are provided with fruit each day.
Juniors need to bring a snack to school each day.
We ask that children do not bring unhealthy snacks to school, such as crisps and biscuits.
