Prof Nick Silikas

Prof Nick Silikas My name is Nick Silikas and I’m a Professor of Oral Biomaterials Sciences at The University of Manchester. I have a strong interest in education and although I’m involved in Higher Education, I consider the first step at primary education as pivotal for the development of any student. In my role at the University, I promote widening participation and this is in line with the ethos at Ladybridge primary school. I am hoping to convey part of my passion for education and equal opportunities to the local children and contribute towards their rights of receiving first class education.
